Two texts of Sixth December 6: Politics of Modi- Shah

Sixth December is carrying two texts in it. One text related to Ambedkar who played in liberation movement of Dalits who are around 15 percentages of Indian people. Gandhi recognised him as the most talented person and kept engaged with him in discussing the issues affecting people of India. He played a decisive role in framing of Constitution which is a revolutionary text.

There is another text which talks of destruction and violence. That is the destruction of the Babri Masjid of 15th century by the Hindutva forces under the supervision of their senior leaders like Advani and Joshi. Indian democracy suffered the worst for last so many years which affected the secular tradition of Indian society. These villainous characters still are in power with their false propaganda of Hindutva nationalism. Hindutva forces under the leadership of the RSS have planted a seed of the Ram Mandir -Babri masjid in 1989 and mobilized public on a communal agenda and created a large scale riots in Gujarat and UP to realise their dream of coming to power. Modi Shah is their leaders who are collecting their fruits for last five years. They are kings who are enjoying power in an expansive style. Their approach to politics and power have destroyed the Indian economy. Indian economy is really on a down slide. It is reflecting in its growth trend. It has come down to 5 percentage of growth. It is demonitisation has affected it badly. From those days it is going down for the last three years.

The Hindutva leaders have decided to plant a second seed of communal politics in the form of Citizenship bill which is a devilish like these people which aims at dividing the society further on communal lines with the help of a partisan law. These seeds they have planted will grow into trees and give fruits of poison who ever will eat they will die. This will bring an end of a great novel experiment India adopted in 1947 that is constitutional democracy based on equality and justice. Citizenship based on birth rather than religion will bring an end to a great dream got planted on this soil by writers like Tagore who talks of humanism not nationalism and Gandhi a saint politician who constructed a nation on the basis of intercommunity relationship with a prayer in his lips. Nehru, Azad who worked hard to show the cultural pluralism on the Rajpath by exhibiting cultural nuances of each region and each community in a multi coloured flower. It is going to fade under the brutal attacks from Modi- Shah Company.

Swami Nityananda, the richest monk who is a close friend of Modi and Shah has fled away after being charged of rape and murder case. Modi Shah could have learnt from Odisha government led by Naveen Patnaik who arrested almost ten monks and some of them leading monks from Kendrapara and Bhubaneswar. This brings the truth out that Modi has a fear of the monks and for which they have made Yogi as the chief minister who was charged of criminal cases and trial had been going on in Allahabad high court. This brings the question of law and order issue as the present government does not follow the Rule of Law which was followed by the British government. The king of Puri known as the Thakur raja faced murder case and got punished to Kalapani. Rule of Law helps in economic growth and social harmony.

After giving a brilliant speech on the floor of Parliament on five trillion economy of Modi, ridden with a sense of humor that any money lender makes a calculation for reaching there. As the economy has weakened it seems that it is impossible to reach the target fixed by Modi. Then he was arrested and put into jail. After 106 days staying in jail he has come out and he looks more energetic and unapologetic. Modi criticized the Nobel Laureate Amartya Sen as he does not have to learn economics from people belonging to Harvard. After his decision on demonetization, Dr Manmohan Singh the former Prime Minister on the floor of the house told it as 'a disastrous decision'. Not a single economist supported Modi's decision. It resulted in economy down by 2 percentage of growth and disrupted the economic growth in India. His own economic adviser Dr Subramanium has resigned and told economy is going face a down slide. For the first time there is ruling elite who are anti-intellectual which harms the economy and society. India has a strong intellectual tradition which makes the country a unique place in the developing countries at the time of Independence. It is recognized by a French economist Charles Bettelheim who came to India in 1950s that India has a strong scholarship specifically economists and historians. Both of them are getting attacks from the RSS and Modi government. They have destroyed the economy and they are planning to destroy the historical works of leading historians.

Politics of Hindutva is a blending of communalism plus fear. Fear is a multidimensional concept here. If you are in a job they see that you lose the job be it government or private. If you write against them then they threaten you, if you don't cow down, then they kill you. If you do not feel scared of them, then they see that you get branded as a minority supporter. Then you are being attacked as the beef eater. If you are a political leader then ED and CBI are against you. They can file a false case with the help of a Judge, they can put you in jail. You will not be given newspaper or books to read. They can torture you as your body and mind do not get proper food. They can lynch you and use physical violence against you. Today's politics in Modi Shah era is best described by Dostoevsky in his novel Crime and punishment that those honest people are in jail but dishonest people enjoy.

Rahul Bajaj spoke of the fear psychology prevailing in Modi Shah regime. In answering to Bajaj's observation Shah the home minister answered that there was no fear. Tagore 's song about freedom has been removed from public places of Delhi. Nehru's definition about university as a place for adventure of ideas have been removed. Many teachers, journalists have been removed from the jobs. ED and CBI have been used against many political opponents. Fear is the basis of fascism which the present regime sponsoring.

 Modi 's hate for Rose is having symbolic importance for RSS. They lacked an aesthetic sensibility. They prefer Sanskrit but not classics like Shankutalam or Mrichakatakam. The beauty of literature or arts they hate. They want temples but not sculptures. Rose symbolises love and beauty in romantic literature. 'Love is like a red Rose.' A famous English poem is appreciated by young readers. As Modi is the product of RSS culture, they can't appreciate beauty which is the bedrock of Indian culture, they could not see the beauty of temple or Masjid. They destroyed the Babri masjid out of hatred. Nehru stood for the beauty of Indian culture for which he wrote Discovery of India. He differed from Malviya but appreciated his morning bath in cold water of river Ganga. He believed in bread labour for which he used to weave in the jail. Out of his love he gifted a khadi sari as a marriage gift to his daughter. He used to wear khadi dress over which kept a Rose flower. Modi wears suits gifted by smuggler Modi or Chosky. Modi is fond of any expensive thing foreign made gifted by these people. He can't appreciate the beauty of Rose or any flower as he smashes flowers under his boots.

As Odiya family keeps its spiritual capital in Jagannath Das's Bhagvat, some bhakts of Hindutva have corrupted these texts by introducing new words into a sentence. This text speaks of stories of Krishna not of Ram. Where ever there is a discussion on "Krishna bhava' they have added a word " Ram Krishna bhava". They think it is difficult to mesmerize Odiyas with Jai Shri Ram" They have redesigned the spiritual texts. They're ready to destroy the industrial capital and spiritual capital of Odisha. They are shameless people.

Three years back I was sitting in Moscow in a bus stand with a Professor friend. A Chinese gentleman got down from the bus to tell me, " Are women feeling unsafe in Delhi or India?" I looked at him then he went back to the bus after telling me a horror story. The Russian Professor felt shocked to hear this. Is it a fact women feel unsafe in India as Hindutva does not believe in rule of law. For them which religion one belongs then the crime and punishment changes. This is happening two powerful babas and an MLA belonging to the BJP who are moving freely despite the crime committed against women. Senger a MLA virtually killed woman's whole family. Hindutva has increased lawlessness after the Khatua incident. As Savarkar says rape as the instrument of their politics. Recently a MP belonging to BJP and a professor of DU tells that according to ancient Hindu texts rape is not a crime. This happened to Kanchi Sankaracharya who committed murder and got punished some years back by Jaylalita chief minister.

 Advani says that those religious people commit crimes should not be punished. After destruction of the Babri Masjid they are not being punished by the court. This lawless has helped the criminals and rapists and Hindutva ideological pursuits to commit crimes against girl child and women freely. It is sad that their leader and the RSS people should come out openly against crimes against women. The Indian economy is facing severe crisis which is reflecting in its GDP growth as it is told by the government sources that it is around 4.5 but according former Government adviser Prof Subramanium it is much lower than this which is around 2.5. How discussions are being organised in the electronic media and print media in such a manner as if the panel of Professors has got selected by the department to the Vice Chancellor to pick someone from the panel. The channel NDTV has organised a discussion on Sunday as if the nominees have been picked by some powerful person outside their editorial board. Out of five one independent scholar Prof Arun Kumar and another from BJP and others are as if from the PMO. The economic crisis is so deep which has been discussed by these people that the government has done many reforms but lacked a narrative. That is the reason which is making so low growth which is a wonderful explanation by these experts. Then the moderator put a question to the BJP spokesperson that why does Modi not speak out to the electorate about the real economic picture but Kashmir and Balakot. This is the narrative of hyper nationalism and against Pakistan has given them a victory or manipulated result in 2019 general election. Their spokeswoman did not answer who does not want to enjoy power. This looks like they are aware of truth but avoids to answer as if Shakespearean hero is speaking "nothing comes out of nothing."

Modi after winning a thumping victory in 2019 general election has given a gift of growthless economy to a nation of hungry for growth and employment. Prof Amatya Sen wrote a cryptic comment on hardworking prime minister Modi that hard work without thinking which brings the result like this.
